Sunday worship is where we gather as one body — but Wells are where we really know each other. Named after the ancient image of a well as a gathering place for community, our Wells are small groups of 8–14 people who meet weekly in homes.
Wells share meals, study Scripture together, pray for one another, and bear each other's burdens. They are the heartbeat of CityWell's community life.
Most Wells begin with food. A shared table is one of the oldest practices of hospitality and one of the easiest ways to truly be with each other.
We reflect on Scripture together — usually connected to the Sunday sermon series. Questions are welcomed; nobody has to have the answers.
We share what's real in our lives and pray for one another. This is where burdens are shared and community deepens into friendship.
